Event Name: Walk for Parkinson’s: Maidstone

Event Date: Sunday 8^th June 2025

Event: A 2 or 6-mile walk for supporters of Parkinson’s UK, with all proceeds going to the charity. All funds will go towards giving help and hope towards those living with Parkinson’s.

Number of People: On the long route we anticipate no more than 450 people, with low numbers passing through at any one time.

About Us: Gladiator Events is working alongside Parkinson’s UK with the Operations of this event. We operate charity events around the UK and work with hundreds of public and private parks. We treat the land with the utmost respect, leaving it the same as, if not better, than we found it. We litter pick our full course – which often means the site is cleaner than we found it, and we ensure we work with our venues to have minimal impact on any other activities going on. We are a Certified B Corp, which means that we balance profit with purpose. As part of this, we consider the environment, community, people and planet in all our business operations. We would be more than happy to share details of any of our other venues we work with for a reference.

Care of Land: We deliver treks and walks across the UK and understand the importance of preserving the landscape we pass through. We send our route markers the day before the event to check the route and ensure they are also giving back to the local area by litter picking on their way. At the end of the event we then sweep the course to ensure we have never left anything behind. Our participants are briefed to look after the landscape, stay on the designated route and leave no trace as well as be courteous to other users. Finally, all our signage is placed with reusable cable ties, so we create no waste with our signage and leave no ‘snippings’ behind.
