Standing up for Nature

Last week, an assessment of Downswood took place by the RSPB to advise members of the Parish Council on what needs to be done and in the right way to support nature, especially insects, pollinators, birds and other animals. We now have some good ideas to take forward this year and we will publish what we will be doing in case you would like to come along and help out.

At the conclusion of the assessment, the members of the RSPB commented that Downswood is looking really smart in comparison to some other arrears and they further commented on the total lack of any litter. This is really good to hear.
