Mallards Play Area Toddler Swings

In July, a Downswood resident contacted the Clerk of Downswood Parish Council with concerns regarding the safety of the toddler swings at Mallards Play Area. The Clerk subsequently reported the matter to MBC Parks and Open Spaces and the swings have since been removed for assessment/repair.

The Parish Council has requested an update from MBC regarding the outcome of its assessment and the anticipated timescale for the swings' return.

We are glad to report that the swings have now been mended and have now been returned to the play area.
