  • Anti-Social Behaviour and Crimes

Please report all crimes and ASB to the police. The easiest way to do this is by calling 101 or online www.kent.police.uk/ro/report/. If an emergency call 999. Residents can also report anonymously via www.crimestoppers-uk.org or 0800 555 111.

  • Noise, Nuisance and Pests

Please be aware that the Community Protection Team are unable to pursue one off incidents of noise, smoke or odour. An officer will provide you with further advice on your concern, but please note you are likely to be asked to document how and when the issue affects you. If you’ve submitted diary sheets to support an ongoing investigation, please continue to keep a diary whilst we assess the information you’ve supplied to date.

  • Animal Welfare/Licensing

If an animal’s welfare is a serious risk or their behaviour is aggressive, please contact the RSPCA or Kent Police respectively. For all other animal welfare or animal licensing enquiries please direct your enquiry to AnimalWelfare@Maidstone.gov.uk

To report any emergency issues outside of normal office hours (Monday - Friday, 9am till 5pm), please telephone 03000 41 91 91. 

Non-urgent issues can be reported to KCC online.  Report a Fault (kent.gov.uk)

This includes: 

  • Road and pavements
  • Street light faults
  • Potholes
  • Drainage
  • Traffic signal faults
  • Overgrown vegetation (inc hedges and grass)


You can plot issues using a map or a non-map based address lookup. If you have any visual impairments or use a screen reader, it is recommended that the address lookup is used. 

To report an issue on a public right of way: Public Rights of Way (kent.gov.uk) These can include: broken stiles overgrown vegetation or fallen trees damaged or dangerous path surfaces damaged or missing signposts.
